ERIC R. HIGGINS

Eric Higgins is a Co-Founder and Senior Managing Director of G-Side Capital Advisors (“GCA”) and has over 11 years of investment banking experience that includes M&A Advisory, Capital Raising, Fairness Opinions, and Board Advisory. Eric is a highly accomplished senior banker and has extensive experience advising family, entrepreneur-led, and founder-owned businesses on complex transactions. Eric possesses extensive expertise in all aspects of the M&A process including negotiations, due diligence, financial modeling, and financial statement analyses. Eric has successfully completed transactions across various industries including business services, consumer & retail, energy, environmental & infrastructure, healthcare & life sciences, manufacturing & distribution, and technology. Eric takes a thoughtful, long-term relationship-oriented approach to his work and makes certain that clients fully understand the finer points of the M&A process and all proposed terms and conditions prior to agreement. Eric’s ability to quickly process and solve complex business, financial, and transactional issues combined with his experience in effectively advocating on behalf of his clients adds significant value to the process and ensures a successful outcome. Eric has a strong track record of obtaining and negotiating premium valuations and client-friendly terms from a broad spectrum of counterparties including multinational conglomerates, publicly traded companies, private equity investors, and privately held businesses. In addition, Eric has advised on highly complex cross-border transactions involving companies based across the world including Asia, Australia, North America, South America, and Europe.

Prior to co-founding GCA, Eric was a Managing Director at BDO USA, P.C.’s investment bank, BDO Capital Advisors, LLC (“BDO Capital”), where he was a senior banker responsible for the West and Southwest regions and was a member of the Manufacturing & Distribution and Consumer & Retail industry teams. During Eric’s approximately nine year tenure at BDO Capital, he worked on many of the firm’s most successful transactions. Previously, Eric worked at Pan American Finance, LLC, a Miami-based international investment bank focused on cross-border M&A and corporate finance advisory for companies located in the Americas and Europe.
